Former Star reporter Finn Bullers helps Prairie Village kids run a paper

Former Star staffer Finn Bullers is helping a students at Corinth Elementary learn about how newspapers work, as he advises the staff of the Corinth Times, reports KMBC. Bullers covered Johnson County government for the Star.

About 40 students between second and sixth grades at Corinth Elementary work on the paper. The school’s PTA went from the original plan of stapling together photocopied stories and pictures to publishing something with more of a professional look.

“I’ve had so much fun doing this,” said sixth-grade student Josh Wenner. “Writing the stories, talking with my friends, it’s just really fun.”
