The parents of missing baby Lisa Irwin will appear on an upcoming episode of Dr. Phil, spokesman Joe Tacopina told KCTV.
“They sat down with Dr. Phil because of his commitment to keep the awareness level high,” said Joe Tacopina, the couple’s New York attorney. “He also provided Deb and Jeremy with some advice on how to cope with the situation.”
CNN reporter Jim Spellman, who has followed the case, tweeted yesterday that friends of Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradly and Jeremy Irwin, are split on whether to give access to national media or all media. Reporters in Kansas City were all but shut out after the family decided to seek a wider audience. Spellman wrote that all camps were critical of the Kansas City police department for focusing too narrowly on the parents.
Meanwhile, KCTV obtained KCPD dashcam recordings of the initial response to the missing child call.
