Matt Tait, Kansas football beat writer for the LJWorld and KUsports.com, won an award for best beat writer from the Associated Press Sports Editors. His  coverage of the Big 12 realignment and KU’s coaching search was relentless; the award is well-deserved. The Journal-World was also named as a top 10 Sunday sports section.
