For the third time since January, somebody’s shot out windows at the Star’s printing plant. No one was hurt, but publisher Mi-ai Parrish is sick of this shit.
“We take it very seriously and we are deeply concerned,” said Star Publisher Mi-Ai Parrish. “It’s a genuine danger to the safety of our employees.”
Randy Waters, The Star’s vice president for production, said the damage appeared to have been caused in each case by a small-caliber weapon. He estimated replacement cost for each of the large panes at approximately $7,000. Footage from surveillance cameras around the building is being reviewed, he said.
