Reporter Russ Pulley joins the Lee’s Summit Journal.

Nico Leone joins KCUR as general manager from St. Louis station KDHX.

Mark Geldmeier joins FOX4 as a “guest” meteorologist.

Annie Greenberg, formerly social media coordinator at The Star, is now a Web producer for KSHB.

Hilary Hedges, formerly a content specialist for Silpada Designs, joins KSHB as a digital content producer.

Jenna Hanchard joins KSHB as a multimedia journalist for its morning show. She comes from WNBG-TV in Binghampton, N.Y.

Kat Boutwell joins KSHB as a morning producer from KNWA-TV in Fayetteville, Ark.

Sara Shepherd has joined the Lawrence Journal-World as features reporter. She was previously news editor of the Shawnee Dispatch.

Rob Roberts, formerly editor of the Lee’s Summit Journal, has joined the Shawnee Dispatch as news editor.

Rob Collins joins FOX4 as a weekend anchor from WCIA-TV in Champaign, Ill.


KCTV’s Mark Boyle leaves for an anchor position in Monroe, La.

Kurt Caywood, the Topeka Capital-Journal’s director of online revenue, was named V.P. of audience development for the Florida Times-Union.

Longtime KC journo Julius Karash is out as executive editor of KC Business magazine.

Lawrence Journal-World reporter Christine Metz has left to take a position with the Douglas County tourism board.

Theresa Freed has left 6News Lawrence.
