Kansas City TV legend Larry Moore announced Tuesday he’s scaling back his schedule. Moore has anchored newscasts in KC for 40 years.
“After over 40 years behind the anchor desk, I have asked to scale back my schedule just a little bit,” said Moore. “I will continue to anchor the 6:00 p.m. weekday newscast and remain active in supporting our values and high standards for news excellence. This will allow me to spend more time with my wife Ruth and our family, while still pursuing my passion to serve Kansas City viewers.”
Starting Dec. 31, he’ll anchor KMBC’s 6 p.m. newscast.
