A new afternoon news program on KSHB focuses on audience engagement and trending topics. The Now KC debuted Monday, and fills the 4 p.m. slot
The Now KC, hosted by Nebraska transplant Deb Tuff, ” features news and information but is not a newscast. Viewers will engage, share and interact constantly throughout the hour-long program. The show includes a mix of local, national and international news, viral videos, and entertainment and lifestyle stories,” according to parent company Scripps.
A similar program launched in Denver, and other stations will soon join their ranks.
Tuff joins KSHB by way of Omaha and Lincoln. She’s joined on The Now KC by Jamie Peters, Lindsay Shively, Kat Boutwell and Andy Ryan.
