The University of Kansas’ journalism school may not have been mentioned in a recent poll of top programs, but the Princeton Review holds the student newspaper in high regard.
In a list of the best college newspapers released today, the University Daily Kansan was pegged at No. 11. The Princeton Review site is behind a paywall, so I have no details as to why the UDK was picked.
Ironically, neither the Columbia Missourian nor the Maneater made the top 20. The only other Big 12 school to make the cut was West Virginia, which came in at No. 8. The Yale Daily News was named the top paper in the land.
